Olinga Learning

Olinga Learning provides educational programs and materials to equip young people to engage in social action as they grow.  Junior youth are assisted by youth mentors to facilitate a dynamic process of learning based on the discovery of expression and inner perception. This approach helps young people understand the moral implications of their speech and actions, and inspires a positive spirit.  Meridian is the fiscal sponsor of Olinga Learning. Healthy Ways Green Days

How can kid's help the environment? Kids don't buy cars, gas or solar panels, but by reducing the amount of meat and dairy in our diets, we can help the environment and our health at the same time. Healthy Ways Green Days is a community outreach campaign sponsored by the Meridian Foundation and inspired by the United Nations Environment Programme’s World Environment Day. Project organizers were appointed Youth Delegates to the United Nations' Children’s World Summit in Japan.

Our Food, Our Health and Our Environment

The book The China Study is a compilation of research conducted over the last 30 years suggesting a strong correlation between the consumption of animal protein and "diseases of affluence" such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer and obesity. Meridian is sponsoring a community outreach campaign to present this new nutritional information to the community.
