Planet Art
Planet Art is a yearlong arts and environmental education program
for elementary school classes in San Francisco. Through nature field
trips, in-class workshops and visits from local artists, students
and teachers participating in Planet Art will gain a connection to
nature and be inspired to take action to create a more
environmentally friendly community. These works are combined
with artwork from students around the country and the globe to be
displayed in local museums and to create a Community Treasure Book
showing how youth see different environments.
