 International Children’s Painting Competition on the Environment

 The Meridian Health Foundation works in the World Environment Day   
 host counties to implement the children’s art exhibits and activities.  The  organizers invite children all over the world to submit their paintings to the  United Nations Environment Programme office in their regions.

The Meridian Health Foundation is serving in an advisory capacity for the Art for Environment Initiative, cosponsored by the United Nations Environment Programme and the Natural World Museum.  The Natural World Museum joined forces with the United Nations Environment Programme to produce annual global exhibition series, designed to utilize art inspired by nature as a catalyst for cultural evolution.

Art works featured in these exhibitions include paintings, sculpture, photography, multimedia visions and conceptual installations. The exhibits generate interactive participation through unique visitor experiences, workshops, lectures, symposia, film series, and cultural performances.
