Water Tanks for Masai Women in Kenya
The Masai women of Eorr-Enteke near Kilimanjaro, Kenya, spend
most of their day walking to and from a water hole without anywhere
to store the water. These women are mostly uneducated and have no
steady income, so having access to water at home is revolutionizing
their lives. These large water tanks store 2,800 liters of
rainwater, enough to provide the women and their children with a
healthy water supply throughout the dry seasons. |
