First Aid Room in the SOUTH PACIFIC

The First Aid building on Espiritu Santo Island in the South Pacific assists 250 students attending the Rowhani School. This sustainable health management system also aids the entire community in Santo. The Meridian Health Foundation funded the construction and gives annual funds to equip the building with simple first aid medicines and supplies.

  Suicide Epidemic in CHINA

Meridian funds an office and shelter for volunteer Chen Si who patrols the Nanjing Bridge. Chen spends his weekends on the bridge outside of Shanghi watching for suicidal people preparing to jump.  Meridian funds shelter and small grants to those surviving suicide.

Island Community Clinic in HONDURAS

The Island Community Clinic in Roatan, Honduras helps people who earn less than $7.00 a day. Their staff is made up of local volunteers and some paid native personnel. Medical teams visit several times a year to provide additional support.  Meridian funds children's vitamins and antibiotics.


Louis Gregory Centre in SOUTH AFRICAN REGION


The Louis Gregory Centre is a not-for-profit learning center developing a community leadership program using the Full Circle Learning curriculum model. The project serves students, orphans and youth.  Meridian funds teachers, trainers and educational materials.

Wind of Hope in KENYA

Wind of Hope in the Arid is a community outreach program located in Isiolo, near Mt. Kenya, which supervises a visiting housemother program for child-headed households, distributes food, and provides a mobile health clinic servicing nine rural communities.

  The Meg Deamer Academy in KENYA

The Meg Deamer Academy is a private school located in Eldoret, Kenya, providing elementary education to students who would not otherwise attend school.  The curriculum focuses on beginning academics and character development.  The vision of the school is to bring up children who will benefit society in the future as part of a community building process.
